Vehicle Safety Inspections
In order to register or transfer ownership of a vehicle in Manitoba, you must obtain a valid safety Certificate of Inspection (COI) that confirms that the vehicle met basic standards for operation as set out in the Vehicle Inspection Handbook. This includes vehicles owned by people moving to Manitoba. While not a guarantee of overall vehicle quality, a COI provides a snapshot of the vehicle condition at the inspection time. R.A.G.
